The Good Dad Co. is a platform that connects individuals with vetted, independent professionals who provide services including home repair & DIY, life skills coaching, family & event support, and mentorship ("Services"). We facilitate the booking and coordination of these Services, but our professionals operate as independent contractors, not employees of The Good Dad Co.
🛡️ All professionals on our platform are background-checked, insured, and vetted prior to providing services. However, The Good Dad Co. does not guarantee specific outcomes and is not liable for results beyond our reasonable control.
You must be at least 18 years of age to book services through The Good Dad Co. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
A booking is confirmed once you complete the booking process and receive a confirmation number. We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings at our sole discretion (e.g., if a service is unavailable or if terms are violated), in which case you will receive a full refund.
All prices listed are in US Dollars. Rates are subject to change with notice. The price at the time of booking confirmation is the price you will be charged.
Bookings made within 24 hours of the requested service time are subject to a 10% late booking fee. This fee helps us ensure quality service and fair compensation to our professionals on short notice. The good news? The 10% late booking fee can be applied as a discount credit on your next booking — because we'd rather keep you in the family than see you leave over a rush charge.
Payment is due at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely; we do not store card details on our servers.
If we must cancel a booking (e.g., professional unavailability, emergency), you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days and priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

All Dad professionals are independent contractors, not employees or agents of The Good Dad Co. The Good Dad Co. is not responsible for the independent actions, decisions, or omissions of professionals outside the scope of booked services. Any disputes with professionals should be directed to us promptly so we can mediate appropriately.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Good Dad Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, loss of data, or loss of revenue.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury — in such cases, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
