The Good Dad Company ("we," "us," or "our") is a home services and coaching company based in Austin, TX. We connect clients with experienced service providers ("Dads") who assist with home tasks, life skills coaching, family events, and mentorship activities through our website at thegooddadcompany.com.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book a session. By using our services, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
Services are performed in person within the Austin, TX metro area. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.
All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed by us before they are final. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requested date and time, but confirmation is not guaranteed until you receive a written or electronic confirmation from us.
You are responsible for providing a safe and accessible environment for our service provider to perform the work. If a session cannot be completed due to unsafe conditions or lack of access, we reserve the right to end the session early and charge for time already worked.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge the stated amount to your payment method.
All prices are listed in US dollars and include applicable service fees. We do not store your full card details — they are handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
In the event of a payment failure, your booking may be cancelled and the appointment slot released. We will notify you promptly if this occurs.
To cancel, log in to your account and navigate to your Bookings page, or contact us at [email protected] or (512) 695-0675.
Refunds, when applicable, will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to provider availability, illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be issued or a reschedule offered at no additional cost.
Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment. To request a reschedule, log in to your account Bookings page or contact us directly. We will work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule.
We cannot guarantee that your preferred alternative time will be available, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
We expect all clients to treat our service providers with respect and professionalism. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client who engages in abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behavior toward our team members.
Our service providers are not licensed contractors, therapists, or financial advisors. Services are provided in good faith based on general knowledge and experience, not professional licensure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Good Dad Company and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific session giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. It explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including how we handle SMS consent and communication preferences.
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of The Good Dad Company and may not be reproduced or distributed without our written consent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Travis County, Texas.
